I think the Raiders could beat Richland!!!!!

Actually 2003 was the last state title for the district. Hopefully one of the four LPD teams will win it this year.

I love it.

First 10-0 season in decades, and a (supposed) Burton fan is getting all upity and excited and willing to play Richlands. Mention that name anytime before the last 4 years, and the reaction would be shudders.

It took a 10-0 season for the first time in years for at least one Burton fan to even consider (or at least want) to play a quality team like Richlands.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Gate City's and Powell Valley's of the world have been willing to play Richlands type teams for seasons upon seasons. Even in those programs' down years. But give Burton one good year, and heck, they're ready to play Richlands, DB, Gretna and Hermitage high school all in one season.

From what I saw on here earlier and after talking to PVfan PV has also scheduled Power House Thomas Walker! [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] From what PVfan told me it wasnt intentional. They talked to alot of different schools but couldnt line up anything. Finally the only school to be able to accept was TW. I dont know if it is for one or two years. Maybe Darrel can shine some light on this.

I wish Norton luck at state, but my honest opinion is that they'll get beat by two td's or more. WC has already beaten the #1 and #2 ranked teams in D2.

Richlands would dispose of JIBurton just like they have everyone else. It will be the same ole story for the Raiders this year. Possibly make it to the finals to lose yet again.
